General, HR and Finance Admin reporting directly to the CEO

At Evoralis, you’ll be joining a dynamic, growing team working on transformative solutions that make a tangible impact on sustainability. We are looking for a dedicated individual to support our administrative, financial, and human resources operations. This is a dynamic role suited for someone organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle various support functions with autonomy and precision.

Location: Cambridge, NIAB CB3 OLE

Hours: Part-Time (Flexible schedule, approximately 25 hours per week)

Reports to: CEO

Key Responsibilities:

 

General Administrative Support

  • Organise meetings, appointments, and team events (e.g., booking meeting rooms, arranging catering, travel arrangements, etc.)

  • Manage company correspondence (emails, etc.)

  • Assist with document management, filing, and archiving, predominantly digitally

  • Assist with simple project management tasks, including tracking deadlines or project status updates

  • Help in compiling data for reports or presentations as needed

  • Update internal documents such as process manuals, company policies, and team directories

  • Support compliance-related tasks, such as maintaining up-to-date company certifications or insurance paperwork

  • Help manage company communications or social media updates (if applicable to the company)

  • All other reasonable requests

 

Finance Administration

  • Work with Xero accounting software - entering, organising, and maintaining day-to-day accounting data in Xero so that the accounts are ready for reconciliation and review

  • Collect, verify, and process invoices for approval (check goods/services delivered, ensure correctness)

  • Ensure timely payments and manage vendor communications related to invoicing

  • File and categorise invoices and financial documents appropriately

 

HR Administration

  • Track annual leave and maintain accurate records of employee time off

  • Support the onboarding process for new employees (e.g., preparing contracts, coordinating new hire paperwork, and assisting with orientation)

  • Assist with maintaining employee files and records

  • Help organise staff engagement activities or training sessions

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative, bookkeeping, or HR role is preferred

  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero) and general knowledge of financial processes

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work efficiently

  • Basic understanding of HR processes (onboarding, leave management, etc.)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
